Just thought I'd share with you this abugida that I often use. It has no name as of now.
This text is in English and introduces the alphabet to you, dear zompist readers.
The two first lines read (I transliterate without adjustments, using · to show character boundries):
hi· so·m·pi·st,
i wa·n·te·d to show yow mi new s·k·ri·p·t a li·tt·le a·n·d te·ll yow a·bow·t we·re i·t ko·me·s f·ro·m
-
It's a fairly logical system. Each vowel is attached fairly regularly to a consonant, but can stand alone where needed. The vowels are /a e i o u y ø/ and can be written long with something similar to a macron, and consonants are written long with something similar to an accute over the syllable. _________________ Nokinen poika

Woah, giant image alert! Mind making it, say, ten times smaller?
Anyway, nice script. Not much else to say. _________________

Pretty scripty!
This reminds me of your Allun script. Very good work!
Would like to see more.

| I really like this! It's very convincing as a script. It's interesting how much it resembles both the cursive Latin alphabet and the Malayalam abugida. My only critiques are that the marks that I assume are punctuation at the top (they look like equals signs with dots) look out of place, and that certain vowel marks (the ones that are just diacritics) aren't terribly elegant like the rest of the script. I'd love an inventory of graphemes. |

I agree about the equal sign, but those actually are yow (you), i.e. ou (two lines) and the glide y before, marked as a dot over.
The "acute" marks double consonant, while the "macron" marks double vowel. A curved line below indicates Vw, while above indicates wV.
I will try to write more properly (I wrote this in my bed in about a minute). It should look better. The sample was written quite fast, and contains some ligatures that are not very formal (for instance, when I write fast, Cu is often attached to the following character).
My favorite are the i's, which are those circles around the letters. The syllable -ti- is my favorite, it's a circle within a circle. _________________ Nokinen poika |

Looks nice. Might we possibly get a chart, or are you going to be mean and make us figure it out ourselves? |

You never cease to amaze me, Egein.
Yes, the script indeed does look like a mix of Greek and Tamil/Malayalam.
I remember a few years ago you posted an image of how the Allun script came about. I believe it was a chart showing the evolution of the letters. People were commenting about the fact that it looked like Tamil, but I remember that you said that it actually came from Russian. Do you still have that image? And was this script influenced at all by Allun? |

| Thanks, Serali! That's exactly the image I had in mind. Turns out I was wrong, it wasn't a chart of the evolution of the letters, but a chart of the syllabary. |

Your welcome. This reminds me of Käläli so much. Käläli has several scripts 2 of them similar to this.
Now I think I know where the "inspiration" came from although at the time I didn't know where it came from I just had an idea and went with it.
Back when Käläli had a different name. I had to change it cause this one was already taken. Plus they're numerous other scripts that Kälans ( Kälälizë ) use.
The one I showed you is one of most commonly used. Pretty scripty.

Hey, here's an idea. How about you keep pictures of your own scripts out of the threads about other people's scripts. You're being like Kanye West here. _________________

And she's saying how much Käläli's script looked like one of Egein's old abugida. Give her some slack. |

Excuse me?
I don't think so. I'm nothing like that two timing bastard. He's nothing but a sore looser and a drunk.
I was comparing the 2 scripts for God's sake. I'm leaving it that. Jacqui I appreciate it. Silk: What's the name of the Pokémon in your avi? I forget the name. Egeins scripts are genius. I love them to death.
So it's no wonder that somehow unintentionally that comes out when I make scripts like this. I advise you to post more sometime.
I can't get enough of them. I have a Javanese like script I use for English.

Do you think that when we open this thread we do it because we want to read about your conscript, which you posted here just because it vaguely resembles Egein's? No, it's because we're interested in what he's made and want to learn more about it, and your scripts are just big distractions that we have to scroll past.
You seem to have a bad habit of derailing threads about other people's conscripts into ones about your own, or just about you, and it's really annoying. If you want to talk about your own conscripts in detail, make a thread about them and leave us to talk or read about this one in peace. _________________

The long answer: He interrupted the VMAs or the MTV awards or some stupid thing like that when Taylor Swift won an award he thought Beyoncè Knowles should've won. "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'm-a let you finish, but"
Spawned a whole internet meme-thing.
