#spinnwebe Submission Pep Talk

Submissions are always welcome, because I can't always be logged in to log the wit and wisdom of #spinnwebe, and no one wants to lose the good stuff.
  1. Please don't send an entire log. Just include the bits that you think are good, and possibly enough supporting context to help me edit.

  2. I prefer the

    <name> text
    or
    name : text

    format, and logs submitted in that format will be more likely to get posted quickly. Other logs require more hand formatting time, but will still get edited.

  3. Not all submissions will pass the editing phase. Sorry, but the submitted logs get edited for content just like the regular logs.

  4. I am taking two types of submissions : Jargon File entries, and general logs for the IRC and newsgroup quotes files.

  5. I'm even happier to take text log files via e-mail. Send them directly to spinnoff-logs@spinnoff.com, as attached text files or text in the body of the message.
